Neurodiversity Affirming Resources

So you want to learn about neurodiversity, how to be a better ally and lean into supporting your child in an affirming way.

First of all, LOVE IT! We are learning to unpack old stories that we know or grew up with, make space for that part of ourselves and our history and are listening to those with lived experience more. We are always grateful for those who speak up so that we may listen. More advocates are creating resources, providing input into research and helping spread education so that the public can lean into it. Thank you for listening and learning, so that when we know better, we can do better.

Here are some resources from those in the field which are broadly considered affirming, many from neurodivergent authors themselves.

These resources are focused around the autism and ADHD neurotypes, as is Sandhya's field of focus but wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that neurodivergence includes other types of neurocognitive variations too. Enjoy!

My roommate tossed his phone at me during dinner to show a massive jackpot he almost hit. I scanned the screen and noticed the interface looked pretty clean, so I looked it up later and registered at Stellar Spins Casino. What grabbed me was the lack of annoying pop-ups begging for deposits. I started playing with low bets, just testing the waters on my commute across Australia. Was down to my last ten dollars when the free spins feature triggered out of nowhere. Turned that tiny amount into enough cash to actually buy a decent new BBQ for the weekend. The mobile optimization is surprisingly solid, no lag or crashes during the bonus animations. It is definitely my go-to spot…

A sudden swarm of wild honeybees nesting inside our office air conditioning unit in Darwin forced the entire accounting department to evacuate yesterday lunchtime. Management had to call a professional apiarist to safely relocate the colony before the insects started crawling through the ceiling vents into the cubicles. The local radio station broadcasted a funny story about WildFortune Casino during their live coverage of our workplace disruption. Working from home for the rest of the week was a fantastic result for everyone in AU.

That sounds like a surreal lunchtime evacuation in Darwin—bees in the AC is next-level chaos, though at least WFH is a silver lining. Funny how even the radio tied it into casino chatter. It almost reminds me of the unpredictable feel of Dim Sum Prize at 7Bit Casino, where things can turn quickly in unexpected ways. Hope the office is bee-free now!

A friend from Melbourne shared lucky vibe casino with me after a long and exhausting week, just as a way to unwind. I opened the site late at night and was impressed by how harmonious the layout looked – the spacing between sections was clean and the typography gave a very calm impression. I sat down properly to explore it and realized that my thoughts slowed down without any unnecessary clutter. The navigation flowed effortlessly; it was precisely the kind of digital break I had been looking for.
